Personalized integration support through sponsorship
Ananda Allotey, Benefits specialist Accor Head Office, UK London, is a young’ Mentor for 3 years and NGO’s Board member of Urban Synergy. This organization’s aim is to support young people from immigrant backgrounds (Africa and the West Indies) through sponsorship: individual and weekly support (one hour a week) focused on motivation, encouragement and ambition.
For one year, young people are sponsored by a professional and attend a program focused on four directions: sharing experience with the sponsor; organised trips (trips to companies, police stations, etc.), seminars putting your people in contact with professionals from various fields (media, legal, etc.) and integrating young people in companies.
Accor corporate Foundation project’s objective is to support 1 000 young people from London’s outlying districts (Lewisham, Lambeth, Southwark And Olympic areas) through sponsorship; give them the will!
