Campus Pro – business incubator
Ever since 1998, Sport dans la Ville has been the main association in France promoting the use of sport for the social and professional integration of 2 000 disadvantaged young people from rough areas. In 2007, three professional integration programs were developed through the construction of “Campus”. In 2010, the association expanded its premises by building “Campus Pro”, a site composed in particular of 10 offices for the project “Entrepreneurs dans la Ville” which is a program to help the enterprise creation. Over the last five years, about ten Accor employees in Lyon have supported this association.
Philippe Takacs, Operations Manager of the Mercure Rhône Alpes, supports the association’s latest project. The Accor Foundation is funding the construction of an office which will house two young entrepreneurs. The building will comprise 10 offices, a meeting room, a dining area and an administration office. It will provide the young people with on-site access to a group of experts, technical assistance and contacts with partner financial organisations.
This is a “Training and insertion” project.
The Foundation’s contribution: €40,000.
