Junior Achievement Italia
Enterprise in action
Junior Achievement is an Italian non-profit organization whose mission is to promote entrepreneurship and economics in schools in disadvantaged neighborhoods. Since 2003, Junior Achievement Italia has supported more than 50,000 students and 1,000 teachers.
As part of the "Enterprise in action" project put forward by Monica Boni, marketing director, Accor Services Italy, Junior Achievement offers 75 young people from schools in disadvantaged neighborhoods in the region of Apulia, in Southern Italy, training in entrepreneurship given by teachers and private mentors. This training aims to teach the young people concepts of business management and upgrade their personal skills by providing them with technical tools such as a business kit, a website and a business plan.
In June 2010, the "best entrepreneur" will be rewarded by a jury of experts, made up primarily of Accor Services Italy employees, on the basis of his/her business plan and the product prototype presented.
This project belongs to the "Training & Integration" category.
Foundation grant: €10,000.
