Rearrangement of the psycho-pedagogical center of Algiers
The hotels Sofitel, Ibis and Mercure's employees of Algiers have been helping for 6 years the Entraide Populaire Familiale association. The association's objective is to promote and develop education and socio-professional insertion of the mentally handicapped young persons.
The psycho-pedagogical center of Algiers, first center established by the association in 1970 for the mentally handicapped persons, is located in a neighbourhood which was severly affected during the bloody events of these last years. The rearrangement project of the center will offer the residents decent spaces, adapted to their needs so they can gradually learn autonomy, socialization and professional insertion. Furthermore, it will also meet the needs of professionals who supervise them.
