Creating an eco-friendly social company to help families affected by AIDS
Chi Heng Foundation is a Chinese charity established in 1998, aims to support adolescents and their families impacted by AIDS in their education, self-reliance and professional integration.
To enhance the existing collaboration between Accor China and CHF, the Accor Foundation project’s objective is to improve the quality of life of 5 young women in a Henan village impacted by AIDS as well as the life of their children by means of economic and social re-integration.
Accor corporate Foundation supports the creation of a social company manufacturing ‘eco-friendly’ bags with the intend of training / making self-reliant women suffering from AIDS : the profits of the bags, to be sold in Accor hotels in China will directly fund the education of adolescents in families (managed by the NGO).
