Association

Yim Kids is a Thai NGO established by Accor employees in 2005 to support all social initiatives in the country aimed at underprivileged communities. Among them, the NGO rebuilt the Huay Pha village school in 2008 in Chiang Mai province.

Project

Yim KidsThe project’s objective is to support this village for their economic integration by enhancing the value of their traditional expertise: rice production (86 families working in rice-growing and organic-rice production) and silk-weaving (12 women).

Marketing and sales of these products from 2010 onwards in the 40 hotels of the Accor group in Thailand will guarantee village families income intended to put 127 children from 4 to 16 years-old through school.
