Association

The association KnK Japan (Kokkyo naki Kodomotachi or Children without Borders) works for children in distress and is operating in the regions damaged by the earthquake and subsequent tsunami.

KnK Japan was created in Japan in 1997. Today, KnK is active in around ten Asian countries. KnK is first and foremost an educational and social support association. In major disasters, it participates, always over an extended period (six months to several years), in re-launching educational projects, professional training, school reconstruction and youth centre renovation.

Project

KnK JaponAlongside the association KnK (Kokkyo naki Kodomotachi stands for Children without Borders), the Accor Foundation is mobilizing to help the victims of the earthquake and tsunami that devastated Japan on March 11, 2011.

The Foundation Accor has donated €20,000 to KnK Japan to buy and distribute first urgency supplies (such as blankets, diapers, food and milk powder…) in Iwate Prefecture, the most affected by the earthquake and tsunami.

The Accor Foundation invites employees wishing to help to make a direct donation on the KnK Japan website: http://donate.knk-network.org/
