Focus on Aviso
Helping students to prepare to sit their “Bac Pro” (vocational baccalaureate) exams.
Marie-Christine Perraud, Accountant of Pullman Versailles Château.
Aviso Conseil is an association that coaches and supports students in difficulty, young graduates and job seekers. This association also promotes young talent from tough neighbourhoods in Trappes (Yvelines) when they approach companies and choose school syllabus options.
Aviso Conseil, an association, set up its Generation Bac Pro project in 2008-2009 to help children with difficulties at school, especially through their last year before their vocational baccalaureate.
Marie-Christine Perraud is the treasurer of the association.
The Accor Foundation supports the Generation Bac Pro project, which is helping 10 Henri Matisse lycée (senior secondary school) students to prepare for their vocational baccalaureate and review their academic and career options.
The support (individual and collective) is provided by a graduate with a Masters in Psychology and focuses on three areas:
——
- remobilization of dropout students,
- validating their post-baccalaureat career choices,
- preparing their entry into the working world.
With this help, the young people gain self-confidence, take pleasure in their studies, fine-tune their career choices and learn to establish good relations with employers (valuation of their skills, drafting of the CV and the covering letter, the preparation for interviews, oral communication, integration in company,…)
