The Australian Red Cross is an NGO that provides crisis first aid and care for the most vulnerable – in Australia in this case, and around the world. Its volunteers provide hands-on help when armed conflict or natural disasters hit. The Red Cross counts 60,000 members and volunteers in Australia.

Project

Croix-Rouge australienneFurther the forest fires of February 2009 and at the request of the australian employees, Accor Foundation responded to the Australian Red Cross national appeal for funds. Accor Foundation supports the Victoria people having been affected by forest fires.

This contribution doubled the €20,000 that Accor Australia had already raised.
