Association

Ateliers Sans Frontières Roumanie, member of a recognized international network, is a non-profit organization whose aim is to foster the social and professional integration of young adults excluded from mainstream society. Since May 2009, it has been running a social integration through work project revolving around community outreach and sustainable development. The workshop is a production unit specializing in testing, disassembly and recycling of IT hardware. A solution for companies that have to process computer hardware to European standards

Ateliers Sans Frontières RoumanieThe Accor Foundation supported the training of 20 young people on subsidized employment schemes in the pilot workshop in Bucharest. It offers the young people work for one year to help them acquire skills and practical experience in the kind of jobs where there are promising outlets: recycling and IT installation and maintenance.

The young employees also benefit from 10 hours a month devoted to socio-professional support: administrative formalities for finding accommodation, counseling and vocational guidance.
