For the 20th anniversary of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child, the photographer Pierre-Jean Rey publishes "Petits d'Hommes", a book dedicated to children around the world.
To illustrate this book sold to support UNICEF, Pierre-Jean Rey routes 17 destinations between March and July 2009 in 12 countries in Africa, the Middle East, South America and Asia, to meet children of the world.
The first stage of his journey is the african continent. Arrived early in March, Pierre-Jean Rey, armed with his camera, went to meet the children of Senegal, Mauritania, Burkina Faso and Morocco to witness their lives steeped in history and emotion.
Ibis supports this project by funding and hosting the photographer and his team at several stages of his route, particularly in Morocco at the Hotel Ibis Moussafir Casablanca which welcomes the last leg of the african journey in late March 2009.
